Tiyeni International School

In the local language, the name of the village, Adonkia, is “I don’t care”. NGO, Experiential Christian International Ministries’ repeated response to a community in need is “I DO care!”. The charity has founded a number of community projects in the village, including an outstanding school, community bakery, adult education classes and medical projects. We support the educational work of this inspirational charity and fund scholarships for 20 children who would otherwise be unable to attend school.

Tiyeni International School’s name reflects the fact that people from several countries work together to fund and run this amazing school. Friends of Freetown is privileged to be part of this international undertaking to provide quality education to vulnerable children.
