Trust Details
Friends of Freetown is a UK based, grant-giving charity working to benefit the people of Sierra Leone. We were created in 2009 with the immediate aim of helping to fund the construction of a community clinic. We currently give grants to:
- Mercy Children’s Home, home to 30 children and young people
- Gbongay clinic and maternity unit overseen by Pujehun Development Organisation
- Adonkia village school and community projects run by set up by Experiential Christian International Ministries
- Kate McGrath School for Girls in Bo
We are a small charity, but passionately believe that we can make a difference.
